Being in love with music, Tam Anderson moved to Los Angeles from Memphis, TN, in 2000 to pursue a singing career. Intrigued with music at an early age, she taught herself how to write and play music. Tam signed with Colors Talent and Modeling Agency and appeared in numerous TV commercials, and even print ads for Fed Ex. She acted in the stage plays: "The Day the King Died" and "Troubled Brother." She also had a lead role in an independent film entitled "Wet Noises." This movie won several awards including the "Award of Distinction" from The Videographer Awards. She worked as an On-Air personality for K-97 (WHRK), as well as U-92 (University of Memphis' Jazz station). A highlight was when she was crowned Miss Teen Black Memphis at the age of 16.
While in Los Angeles, she soon found herself behind-the-scenes promoting other artists as a Marketing Representative for Sony Music and as a Producer and Videographer for a celebrity show called Studio Q. This show is hosted by her best friend, Quencie Thomas and can be seen on Quencie.com. As a Marketing Manager with over 20 years of experience, her career has been marked by a consistent track record of delivering profitable marketing solutions, fostering customer engagement, and enhancing brand awareness for notable companies such as Guitar Center, Belkin, DTS and IMAX. Throughout her career, she has honed a diverse skill set that encompasses various aspects of marketing and project management, allowing her to excel in a dynamic and competitive business landscape. Some of those skills include digital content, branding, social media, retail, events, and graphic design. Tam has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The University of Memphis as well as various certifications in marketing. She is passionate about driving success and exceeding expectations in every endeavor. Her comprehensive skill set, combined with extensive experience, makes her a valuable asset in achieving business objectives and fostering growth.
Outside of the office, Tam is the owner of Tam Jam Candles (tamjamcandles.com) and The Sweet Life of Pets (thesweetlifeofpets.com). When not selling amazing candles and cute pet accessories, Tam enjoys spending time with her gamer son, Jayden, and her oh-so spoiled maltipoo, Mocha.
